Lets face it. Soccer doesn’t get a ton of love from The Hobby, specifically in America. Upper Deck had been making soccer cards for years, but in 2007 Manchester United star David Beckham made the decision to come play for The Galaxy. I guess MLS thought it would help more Americans get interested in the sport. I’ve never really had an interest in soccer. I’ve been to the Soccer Hall of Fame, buts thats about as close as I have come to the sport. 2007 Upper Deck Major League Soccer contains a 100-card base set, plus additional inserts such as Goal Guards and Pitch Perfect. Collectors can also look for single autograph and dual autograph cards. Of course, the most popular player in this set is David Beckham, despite his many injuries. Hobby boxes can be found for $20.00.
