In 1997 I was extremely new to collecting. The first card shop that I ever visited was called The Penalty Shot, and I thought it was great. They had boxes, packs, singles, and my personal favorite at the time – the dollar wall. There are two products that stick out to me when I think of 1997. One of them is ’97 Upper Deck Legends, and the other is ’97 Skybox Premium. Last week I saw Dave & Adam’s Card World had a box of Premium, and I snatched it up for $41.00.
The 90′s are known for having some of the best looking inserts and parallels. ’97 Skybox Premium has Ruby parallels of the base that have always caught my eye. I never pulled one… until now
