I have been to a bunch of games in my life and have received a lot of weird stadium handouts when going through the front gate. This has to be one of the coolest bobbleheads I have ever received at a game. This is “Boomer” the Williamsport Crosscutters new mascot. It was given to the first 1,000 fans at last Friday night’s game. I was able to pick up three and man am I glad I did. I can’t believe what one of these sold for.

The Sports Business Journal reported that Major League Baseball teams dramatically increased their use of in stadium giveaways in the 2010 season in the face of drastically reduced consumer spending and the worst economic conditions since the great depression.
