That whole mess was just posturing. Bush is going to give ’em some of the banks’ bailout dough anyway.
Under the circumstances, I can understand why the folks in Michigan wouldn’t be too anxious to fork over money for his signature – he definitely could have picked a better time to come to Michigan!
