On Thursday April 23, 2009 former Penn State stars Blair Thomas, Kenny Jackson, Shane Conlan, and D.J. Dozier will be in Lycoming county to benefit the United Way. There will be a dinner and time to get autographs/photos with the athletes. I plan on attending so I can share the photos here on Sports Card Info. This is the first year that Penn State has agreed to do this and it sounds great.
Over the next few months, Sports Card Info will be attending the following events:
- March 13-15: Philadelphia Sports Card & Memorabilia Show – multiple autograph guests
- March 28: Ephrata Lions Club Sports Card Show – Darren Daulton will be signing autographs
- April 23: Penn State dinner with Blair Thomas, Kenny Jackson, D.J. Dozier, and Shane Conlan
- May 11: Golf tournament with Joey Sindelar
- July 29-Aug 2: 30th Annual National Sports Collectors Convention
Throughout the summer I will be attending a few minor league games as well. I would also like attend a Little League World Series game too. In Williamsport, PA they have a really good Little League World Series Museum, which I visited many years ago and would like to go back to get some photos. This is going to be a busy year for Sports Card Info, so be sure to keep checking back for pictures of all the events.
