Flashback Product of the Week: 2004 Upper Deck Etchings

I remember opening a bunch of this stuff when it first came out.  2004 Upper Deck Etchings consisted of a 150 card base set, plus each box contained 3 autographs and 3 relics.  I had two memorable pulls from this product.  The first one would be the Alex Rodriguez / Derek Jeter Dual Bat Relic #’ed/150 and the other would be a Mark Prior autograph.  At that time, Prior was still a popular player before getting injured.  Upper Deck Etchings only lasted for one year and haven’t been brought back since.  I don’t think a lot of collectors enjoyed the way the base cards were designed.
