Manning / Tittle Scammer Caught

I love catching a scammer.  This afternoon I came in from swimming and decided to check eBay to see what NFL logo patches were for sale.  Scrolling down the list I came to this auction.  At first glance this Eli Manning / Y.A. Tittle dual patch looks really cool.  Its from 2007 Leaf Certified Materials which is one of my favorite football products.  Looking closer at the auction I started to see a ton of red flags.  To start, the seller’s feedback isn’t the worst in the world but not the best.  Some of the recent comments accuse them of selling fake stuff.  Beneath each relic window it says “Game-Worn Jersey”.  An authentic card would state “Prime-Jersey” or “Patch” or for the Tittle relic “Laundry-Tag”.  One of the biggest things that sticks out to me is the football on the NFL logo.  If you look at the picture, the football doesn’t have any stitch marks like the authentic ones do.  I plan to report it and lets hope eBay takes it down.
