Flashback Product of the Week: 1993 Pinnacle Joe DiMaggio Box Set

For some crazy reason, I’ve been seeing these 1993 Pinnacle Joe DiMaggio Box Sets appear more and more at card shows.  Each box contains a certified autograph of Joe DiMaggio.  There are 5 different types of autographs you can collect and each one is limited to 1,800 copies.  Also included in each box is a 30-card Joe DiMaggio set.  Sealed boxes can be picked up for around $150.00 if you shop at the right place.  You really can’t go wrong with this product.  Collectors have been known to spend a lot more than $150.00 on a box and pull stuff not even close to a Joe DiMaggio signature.

I’ve always thought it was funny how Upper Deck and Donini would cut up the cards from the ’93 box set and insert them into their newer stuff.
