After winning the Heisman Trophy in 1978, Sims was the #1 pick in the 1980 NFL Draft. When he suffered a knee injury in 1984 his NFL playing career came to an end. Right now he works for a non-profit organization called AmericaCan and is part owner of Billy Sims BBQ and makes appearances at major sports shows. Last year I got to meet him during The National and he was a great guy. I’m sure back in 1981 this card was on top of the world.

Besides all his accomplishments on the football field, he is a great TTM signer, so you can get a heisman trophy winner signature for the price of two stamps……
If you go to his restaraunt web site you can find an address to send the card to for him to sign. I live in Tulsa where it is and sent one which returned signed in about two weeks.
