Panini Got Pujols For ’09 EEE

I’ve never purchased a single pack of Donruss Elite Extra Edition Baseball because its usually filled with a ton of prospects.  Today Panini stated that for the first time they will be including current stars and legends in it’s upcoming ’09 version of EEE.  I sure wouldn’t mind pulling this Pujols autograph.  I’m glad to see that Panini could get Pujols to sign for them.  These cards look pretty cool.  I’ve always liked the design of Donruss EEE, but never had the need to purchase any of those cards.  Their die-cuts usually look great too.  You can read more about Elite Extra Edition over on Panini’s Facebook page.

Awhile back, I was talking with one of my local card shop owners and they had an opened box laying on the counter with only one pack left.  It sat for many months and finally a collector purchased that last pack and pulled a Pujols autograph numbered to 15.  So the next time you see that empty box with only one pack in it, go ahead and take a chance 🙂
