2010-2011 Score Hockey Box Break & Review

Design: Photobucket

The design is classic.  This product’s design commemorates the 20th anniversary of Score hockey which is why these cards look very similar to 1990-1991 Score Hockey.  I like the feel of the cards too.  Most of the cards don’t have a glossy covering which makes them stand out from a lot of other products.  The die-cut snow globe inserts are a great card concept too.

Price: Photobucket

Boxes are selling anywhere from $20.00 to $40.00.  If your a hockey fan on a budget and are looking for some of the biggest rookies, this product is for you.

Hit Quality: Photobucket

Collectors will not be buying this product for the hits.  Your guaranteed (1) autograph per case on average.  The odds are very much against you.  But with having a “Hot Rookie” fall (1) in every (2) packs, you could get lucky and pull a high dollar SP.  Set collectors will find this product fun.

Overall: Photobucket

I give 2010-2011 Score Hockey 3 toothless hockey dudes out of 5 (1=poor & 5=perfect).  This is a great product for collectors who need to fill that busting crave and might be short on cash.  Its also good for new collectors wanting to give hockey a try.  You get what you pay for with this product.  If your looking for big hits and serial numbered stuff, I’d suggest opening something else.
