Flashback Product of the Week: 1986 Panini – Transformers Stickers

Its no surprise that Transformers: Dark of the Moon was #1 at the box office this weekend.  I saw it on Saturday and thought it was one of the most action-packed films I’ve ever seen.  Hearing that iconic Optimus Prime voice is always so cool.

Panini is known for making collectible sticker sets.  In 1986 they released a set based on Transformers.  It makes sense that they would, considering Transformers was huge and in 1986 there was a Transformers movie released.  This sticker set consists of 256 stickers.  They’re actually quite collectible, and individual sticker packets have sold for as high as $11.00 each.  But I wouldn’t expect all of them to sell like that.

This has been one of the best summers for going to the movies.  If you haven’t seen the newest Transformers movie I suggest taking a look.  The next movie I’ll be seeing is Captain America: The First Avenger.
