Design:
Essential Elvis’s 35-card base set covers almost all the major moments in Elvis Presley’s career. Press Pass used a lot of great photographs that I’m sure all those Elvis fans will enjoy. When it comes to the black and white photos, it may not have been the best idea to use foil card stock. I think it makes the cards containing black and white photos look a little dark. Press Pass created a blank white area for each personality to sign. These on-card signatures look great!
There are Elvis cut signatures in this product. All of them are serial numbered 1/1. I did not pull this card, but I do like its design. Instead of the signature window cut into a rectangle, the window forms to the shape of the autograph.
Price:
Boxes are currently selling for $53.00.
“Hit” Quality:
Each box of Essential Elvis should have (3) “hits” inside. Every box will have at least (1) autograph and (1) Elvis Presley relic card. The third “hit” will either be another Elvis relic or autograph. As far as “hits” go, I think this Elvis product is the best. I pulled the following:
Autos
- Barbara Eden Auto #’ed/100 – starred in the T.V. show I Dream Of Jeannie and co-starred with Elvis in the 1960 film Flaming Star.
- DJ Fontana Auto – was Elvis’s drummer for 14 years.
- George Klein Auto – long time high school friend of Elvis.
- Elvis Presley Essential Materials Tweed Jacket
- Elvis Presley Essential Materials Bathrobe
- Elvis Presley Essential Materials King Size Bathrobe #’ed/299
