Design:
Once again the design is much like last year’s Plates & Patches. On the plus side, Panini did do better with the autographed rookie patch cards. These on-card autographs look good, but I think the area for the player to sign should have been much larger. In most cases, these cards are the main “hits” of the box and having them encased in a thick holder like they were last year would have been a good idea.
Price:
Boxes are currently selling for $150.00.
“Hit” Quality:
You are guaranteed (5) “hits” per box – (1) on-card autographed prime memorabilia rookie, (2) additional autographs, and (2) additional memorabilia cards. I pulled the following:
Auto/Relic
- Blaine Gabbert on-card autographed prime 1-color patch rookie #’ed/299
- Ryan Whalen Rookie Auto #’ed/405
- Johnny White Rookie Auto Redemption #’ed/49
- Darren McFadden Jersey #’ed/299
- A.J. Green Rookie Blitz Jersey #’ed/299
- LaQuan Williams Silver Rookie #’ed/100
- Alex Smith Gold #’ed/50
- Mark Ingram #’ed/249
- Dez Bryant #’ed/499
- Chad Henne #’ed/499

Not a ba break especially if Gabbert can live up to expectations
