Even though Press Pass released a steady line of basketball products from 1995 to 2009, for some crazy reason I don’t think of them as a big basketball card manufacturer. When I think of Press Pass football and NASCAR come to mind first. Anyway, the 1995 Press Pass Basketball set only consists of 36 cards. During the 90’s, phone cards were a huge fad. When this product came out, I was at the age where talking to your friends after school and having phone privileges was really cool. Kids were constantly talking about phone cards. You could find phone cards inserted one in every five boxes. Packs only carried 3 cards – 1 base, 1 die-cut, and 1 insert. You could look for autographs of Jimmy King, Antonio McDyess, Cherokee Parks, Joe Smith, Damon Stoudamire, David Vaughn, Rasheed Wallace, and Eric Williams. Boxes can still be found for $35.00 or less.

Press Pass had some nice stuff in the 90’s. Really enjoyed their product line.
