Design:
2012 Ignite is a new brand in Press Pass’s racing lineup. One thing that I really notice is the use dark backgrounds which is then followed by bright colorful images of the drivers and their cars. It must be a NASCAR thing, but many racing autographs have the team’s COA hologram right over a larger portion of the driver’s signature. I’ve seen this done with a lot of racing products. It must be some rule that they need to have the COA placed there.
Price:
Boxes are currently selling for $87.00.
“Hit” Quality:
Every (20) pack box contains (2) “hits” – (1) autographed relic & (1) relic. You would think by having (20) packs in a box there would be more “hits”, but this is the first time Press Pass has issued a product that has this many packs and guarantees you to pull an autographed relic. I pulled the following:
Auto/Relic
- Jeff Gordon Ignite Auto/Race-Used Firesuit
- Clint Bowyer Ignite Race-Used Firesuit #’ed/99
- Danica Patrick Black and White Red Parallel #’ed/50
- Dale Earnhardt, Jr Steel Horses #1
- Kasey Kahne Steel Horses #8
- Ryan Newman Profile #1
- Trevor Bayne Profile #5
- Brad Keselowski Limelight #6
- Clint Bowyer Limelight #4
- Richie Evans 2012 NASCAR Hall of Fame #145
- Danica Patrick #30 – Yes, she is new to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, but does she really need more rookie cards? She has so many. Plus I pulled another base card of her that doesn’t contain the rookie card logo. It looks just like the one with the logo. Its a total mind blower! Then again, you can’t complain about too many Danica Patrick cards.
