2013/2014 ITG Decades The 90s Box Break & Review

Design:  photo 3cube.jpg

The relics, base, and inserts are designed using In The Game’s standard procedure.  Nothing really different there.  Where Decades The 90s truly shines are the autographs.  Its got on-card signatures with a lightly faded image of that player’s arena in the background.  These autographs look sharp!  No white boxes either.

Price: photo 3cube.jpg

Boxes are currently selling for $95.00.

“Hit” Quality: photo 3cube.jpg

Boxes contain 14 cards.  There should be at least (3) autographs and (3) relics.

I pulled the following:

  • Guy Hebert Decades 1990s Autograph
  • Steve Smith Decades 1990s Autograph
  • Bill Ranford Decades 1990s Autograph

  • Mike Richter Game-Used Jersey
  • Nikolai Khabibulin Between The Pipes 2-Color Jersey
  • Mario Lemieux/Jaromir Jagr/Mark Messier/Mike Richter Rivalries Quad Jersey

  • Pavel Bure Decades 1990s Rookie #DR-12
  • Patrick Roy Decades 1990s MASK #DM-18

  • Byron Dafoe #38
  • Patrick Marleau #115
  • Bryan Trottier #164
  • Gordie Howe #62
  • Grimson vs. Probert Enforcers #188
  • Ron Francis/Jeremy Roenick Cup Clashes #193

Overall: photo 3cube.jpg

Overall, I give 2013/2014 ITG Decades The 90s 3 ice cubes out of 5 (1=poor & 5=perfect).  In The Game did an excellent job with the signatures.  These autographed cards are how Press Pass should have made Sports Town Football last year.

  1. Nice box! You did pretty good. Especially with the Quad Jerseys of Jagr, Lemieux, Messier, and Richter! Looking forward to a hockey contest with one of these cards. Overall, this product is not that bad. Would be interesting to see if they produce any other decades like this box.

  2. Decades 80’s came out in 2010
