Design:
I’ll just come right out and say it. Certified looks really good this year. That isn’t something collectors can say all that much. Panini did an excellent job, especially when it comes to the Freshman Fabric cards. The Freshman Fabric cards feature a front and backwards styled “F” relic window. The autographs aren’t on-card, but at least they didn’t slap a giant white box in the middle like they have in the past. The set’s overall design is quite simple, and many of the colored parallels almost have a Precious Metal Gems feel to them. Very well done!
Price:
Boxes are currently selling for $88.00.
“Hit” Quality:
Boxes should come with (4) “hits”. At least one of them should be an autograph.
New Generation autographs have been a standard within the Certified brand for a long time. Usually dud rookies have been saved for these cards, but Panini finally decided to include top rookies from the Photo Shoot. This means if you see a New Generation autograph coming, there is a chance it could be of a top guy. Inclusion of the veteran base autographs was a nice touch as well.

Overall:
Overall, I give 2013 Certified 4 footballs out of 5 (1=poor & 5=perfect). The design is the best its been in years, and Panini has done a fantastic job of improving every aspect of it.
