I hope to learn one day what’s the story with the Phillies hats from the late 60’s/early 70’s. It might just be how they were photographed but all the Phillies are wearing what appears to be rather tall hats. Or they are sitting on top of their heads rather than pulled down. Was the team trying something? I don’t recall see any other team having hats this way during this period.
