Collector Type: Risk takers
Whoa! Look what I got my hands on to open. Its time to take a roll of the dice, and open a box of 2021 Topps Inception Baseball.
The Inception brand has always been a big hit or miss product. Each box comes with (1) pack of (7) cards. Inside each pack you should find (4) base, (2) parallels, and (1) autograph or autograph/relic.
(100) cards make up the base set. Parallels include Green, Purple #’ed/150, Magenta #’ed/99, Red #’ed/75, Orange #’ed/50, Blue #’ed/25, and Inception Black #’ed 1/1.
Autographs include Base Rookie and Emerging Star, Autograph Short Prints, Dawn of Greatness, and Silver Signings.
Autograph/relics include Autograph Patch, Autograph Jumbo Patch, Autograph Game Socks, Autographed Jumbo Hat Patch, Autograph Laundry Tag Book, Autograph Letters Book, Autograph MLB Silhouetted Batter Logo Patch Book, Autograph Team Logo Patch Book, Dual Autograph Relic Book, and Gameday Gear Autograph Relic Book.
I’ve always enjoyed the artistic look of Inception. Opening individual boxes can be a massive gamble ($200 per box). Joining a team break and/or opening this product up by the case might yield some more successful results. Over the years I’ve pulled some incredible cards from Inception, including my first button relic a few years ago.
Here is what I pulled:
Auto:
- Jordan Holloway RC Magenta #’ed/99

Parallels:
- Manny Machado Green
- Starling Marte Green

Base:
- Mike Trout #60
- Nick Madrigal RC #56
- Dane Dunning RC #61
- Brandon Lowe #59
