2021 Topps Fire Baseball Hobby Box Break & Review

Collector Type: Set/Autograph/Enjoys Colorful Shiny Foil/Art

I have had a lot of good luck with the Fire brand over the years. In 2018 I pulled an Ronald Acuña Jr. RC Purple Parallel #’ed/99. 2019 brought a Pete Alonso RC Auto. 2020 I didn’t bust any. 2021 the luck continued with a nice Ke’Bryan Hayes RC Orange Parallel Auto #’ed/99.

This Target-exclusive brand comes in two different formats. A hobby box guarantees (2) autographs, while Blasters are the only place you can find the Gold Minted Parallels.

Artist Tyson Beck makes his return lending his artistic talents to this product. The horizontally-designed Scorching Signatures offer a blast of colorful, on-card autograph goodness. They are a tougher pull, but look really cool.

A complete base set consists of (200) cards. Parallels include Gold Minted (4 per Blaster), Flame (1:4), Orange #’ed/299 (1:20), Green #’ed/199 (1:30), Purple #’ed/99 (1:60), Magenta #’ed/25 (1:236), Onyx SSP (1:241), and Inferno #’ed 1/1 (1:6,013).

Autographs include Base Autographs, Dual Autographs, Triple Autographs, and Scorching Signatures.

Inserts include Fired Up, Flame Throwers, Rookie Ignition, Smoke & Mirrors, and We Have Liftoff.

  1. These cards remind me of 1995 Fleer where they had a different design for each division
