Today Sports Card Info celebrates it’s 9th birthday. My blogging career began way back when eBay first introduced their guides. I remember compiling a lot of information for my first eBay guide called How To Spot Fake Sports Cards That Are For Sale. Looking back now it seems kind of generic, but it gained traction. That led me to create my own blog. Many blogs have come and gone in the last nine years, but I’m still around.
Thanks to everyone who visits on a regular basis. Let us make it another great year!!! #10 is coming in 2017!!!

Even though the Phillies lost yesterday, this was one of the best games I’ve ever been too. I sat right in front of Harry The K’s out in the outfield for the entire game. Right behind Raul Ibanez. I sure wasn’t expecting to see Cliff Lee hit his first career home run. The place went totally nuts when he did.
I tried one of Citizens Bank Park’s grilled hot dogs along with some boardwalk fries. Everything was extremely good, especially the hot dog bun. I picked-up 8 new pins from the Majestic Clubhouse Store and a Phanatic lanyard to hang them on. Did you know they make Phillies pool noodles?

Today, Sports Cards Uncensored reported about a fake Mickey Mantle 1952 Bowman PSA Mint 9 that has been popping-up on eBay. It looks as if somone has learned how to counterfeit the PSA lable and holder. Getting a card from that era graded a Mint 9 is so hard, you really just have to stop and think. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Its almost getting to the point that the only way you know a vintage card like this is real, is if you find one in a trunk locked away in your grandma’s attic.
