2022 Topps 582 Montgomery Club Factory Set Arrives

The final perk of the 2022 Topps 582 Montgomery Club membership recently arrived. Last but not least is the 582 Montgomery Club foil-stamped factory set.

This factory set consists of (660) cards (Series 1 and 2) with each card containing the 582 Montgomery Club foil stamp.

A big FYI needs to be provided here. During the National Sports Collectors Convention Topps held their Q&A session. In that meeting they mentioned that despite Spencer Torkelson, Bobby Witt Jr., and Julio Rodriguez not having base rookies in Series 2 the 582 Montgomery Club factory set would have rookies of them. This is 100% true. But none of them come with the 582 Montgomery Club foil stamp. This isn’t a mistake of some kind. Topps did the same thing with the 2022 All-Star factory set too. Its a little disappointing, but kind of expected.

Current members should be notified shortly about when its time to renew. That’s assuming Topps continues the club. I enjoy the sets, and early access to online-exclusive products.

I have a suggestion for Topps. It would be cool to see some Topps Chrome Sapphire Edition cards of MLB mascots and managers. I don’t believe this has ever been done before. I’d like to see at least one of the sets shipped to club members throughout the year cover something like that.

2022 Topps 582 Montgomery Club Set #5 Autograph Arrives

Between 2022 Bowman Sapphire Edition, 2022 Topps Finest Flashbacks, and the missing autograph in Set #5 of the 2022 Topps 582 Montgomery Club membership, Topps has had some mishaps recently. I’m not sure what Fanatics is doing over there, but someone needs to take charge.

Topps had to send out the autographs separately to members of the 582 Montgomery Club. Here’s the autograph I received which was suppose to be included within Set #5 of the 2022 membership. Next up is the 2022 Topps 582 Montgomery Club Factory Set.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a Ke’Bryan Hayes autograph.
