Design:
When it comes to design, racing fans haven’t seen that much innovation for awhile. I doubt we will. Press Pass has zero competition when it comes to racing so why spend the money to include shadow boxes, sketches, or art/relics. This product is decently designed, but nothing really jumps out as far as being new. If I had to pick, my favorite cards from this product would have to be the Pit Road Pieces and booklets.
Price:
Boxes are currently selling for $160.00. Its one of their more expensive brands.
“Hit” Quality:
When it comes to configuration, this type is my favorite. There are only five packs per box with a “hit” inside each pack. I’m not a fan of having a lot of base cards.
I pulled the following:
Auto/Relic
Auto
Relic
Parallel
Insert
Overall:
Overall, I give 2015 Press Pass Cup Chase 3.5 hot dogs out of 5 (1=poor & 5=perfect). This is the first time in years that Press Pass hasn’t released Legends Racing. That was always one of my favorite products and I had a lot of luck with it. Cup Chase looks nice, but doesn’t offer much of anything new.
