Sportkings Series F 34th National Redemption Program Details
As far as bang for your buck, I believe Sportkings has one of the better box break redemption programs for the National. For the price of one box of Sportkings Series F that collectors break at the In The Game booth, you’ll receive a specially made relic card just for the 34th NSCC. These cards will contain single, double, and triple pieces of memorabilia. Each card will have 19 silver versions and 1 gold.
If you’re a real high-roller and decide to open a 16-box case of Sportkings Series F at the In The Game booth, you’ll receive a 1/1 Spectacular Patch made just for the NSCC.
Given that this year’s National is in Chicago, there will be Spectacular Patch cards of Stan Mikita, Chris Chelios, Harold Baines, Bill Skowron, Luis Aparicio, Glenn Hall, Ed Belfour, Sammy Sosa, Jeremy Roenick and many more.

Sportkings Series F To Focus On Miami Dolphins Perfect Season
The Miami Dolphins 17-0 Perfect Season is one of the biggest accomplishments in NFL history. Fans probably won’t see this ever happen again. Despite all of this, no card manufacturer has ever dedicated a portion of any of their products to this monumental event. Over the years they keep praising teams like the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots. Finally, someone has stepped up to the plate and has given members of this team their long over due time in the light. That someone would be Sportkings.
Sure, some of these players have autographs and relics in other products, but nothing like this. Sportkings Series F, due out August 1, will feature a new concept called Anthology. The first Anthology Autograph Card insert set will feature the members of the 1972 Miami Dolphins. 13 members of the Dolphins will be featured in this insert set. There are 72 of each player hard-signed featuring their home jerseys and 72 of each player hard-signed in their away jersey.
The Perfect Season Anthology autographed/memorabilia cards feature pieces of seat from the Orange Bowl that are signed by players such as Bob Griese, Jim Kiick, Howard Twilley, Nick Buoniconti, and more. I’m glad Sportkings was able to include guys like Buoniconti, Twilley, and Fernandez. These guys don’t have many modern day cards.
After the way collectors reacted to the Art Cards found in Series E, it shouldn’t surprise you that they’d make a return this year. Check out these all hand-painted bad boys!

Sportkings Series F Preview
Dr. Brian Price announced that In The Game has acquired Sport Kings LP. Both companies are owned by Dr. Price, but combining them into one will make sales, marketing, and product information much easier to control rather than having two separate entities.
In addition to the merger, Dr. Price went on to give collectors a preview of Sportkings Series F which will be released during the National this year. ITG’s Jared Kelly is back with his classic art cards that were introduced in Series E. Sportkings Series F will contain new Memorable Moments art cards. Each Memorable Moments art card is a 1/1 and after placing them together you’ll get to see the entire picture. There is a total of 20 different Memorable Moments art card puzzles that you can put together. Each one depicts an historical moment in sports history.
Some of the Memorable Moments art card puzzles include:
- Ali vs. Liston
- Gehrig’s farewell speech
- Joe Namath from Super Bowl III
- Tiger Woods wins his first Masters Tournament
- Brandi Chastain 1999 Women’s World Cup
- Vince Lombardi carried off the field
- Orr’s Flying Goal
The Body Of Work cards are new for Series F. These feature a jumbo piece of memorabilia along with a sketch. There are 60 different athletes in the Body Of Work set, and each athlete has 9 unique cards. I think these look good, but the relic takes up a lot of room leaving a smaller area for the artwork. I wonder if they thought of making these into booklets. A booklet format would allow for a large piece of memorabilia and a bigger sketch.
New people added to the Sportkings Series F family include Shaquille O’Neal, Bill Parcells, Tito Ortiz, Scottie Pippen, Fernando Valenzuela, Kerri Strugg, and Frank Gifford. Collectors should keep their box tops because they will qualify for a Box Top Redemption Program. News on that coming later.
Dr. Price hasn’t announced yet what type of redemption programs they will have in Chicago for the National this year. In my opinion, the program they had last year was one of the best. Each box of Sportkings Series E opened at their booth got you a relic card #’ed/10 or 1. I thought that was a good deal.

Card of the Day: John F. Kennedy ’01 Topps American Pie Berlin Wall Relic
Twenty years ago the Berlin Wall was ripped down to unite the East and West sides of Germany. The Berlin Wall has made its way on to a handful of trading cards, but in 2001 Topps created a product called American Pie that featured an image of John F. Kennedy and contained an actual piece of the Berlin Wall. These can easily be found for under $10.00.
