2014 Press Pass Gameday Gallery Box Break & Review

Design: 

The base autographs and their parallels look really good.  In fact, these might be the nicest non-licensed/pre-draft football cards that Press Pass has ever made.  Horizontal layout, white card stock, and a painted look to the images are what standout to me.  They left plenty of room for the signatures and don’t look boxed in.

Price: 

Boxes are currently selling for $82.00.  This will drop when the licensed products get released.

“Hit” Quality: 

This is another fast thrill product, as these non-licensed/pre-draft products should be.  Nobody really needs all those logo-less base cards anyway.

Overall: 

Overall, I give 2014 Press Pass Gameday Gallery 4 hot dogs out of 5 (1=poor & 5=perfect).  For what it is, Press Pass did a nice job.  Its much better looking than the other football products Press Pass has been releasing.

2014 Press Pass Gameday Gallery Preview

Gameday Gallery doesn’t mess around and gets straight to the point.  Each 1-pack box contains five cards that are all hard-signed.  The base autographs stick out to me the most this year given that they’re horizontal and have a large white area for the signature.  These might be some of the nicest pre-draft/unlicensed football cards that Press Pass has issued in years.  Plus I like the artistic filter they use on the photographs to give them that painted look.  Press Pass has been using that technique with Gameday Gallery for awhile now, but the 2014 cards look the best.  The autographs aren’t boxed in.

2013 Press Pass Gameday Gallery Football Box Break & Review

Design: 

Press Pass went with the painted look when it came to 2013 Gameday Gallery Football.  Of all their non-licensed football products, I have to say this is the best looking one.  I like it when manufacturers use the paint filters on their photo editing software.  Press Pass also left a wide open space for the signatures too.

Price: 

Boxes are currently selling for $70.00.

“Hit” Quality: 

There is no fluff when it comes to this product.  It gets right to business.  Inside each box you’ll find (1) pack containing (4) on-card autographs.  Be sure to look for the no helmet variations.

Overall: 

Overall, I give 2013 Press Pass Gameday Gallery 3.5 footballs out of 5 (1=poor & 5=perfect).  Like I said before, I’d prefer to open this non-licensed football product versus any of their others.  It looks different and gets right to the point.  I believe this is the last football product Press Pass plans to release this year.  Non-licensed products that aren’t approached with a unique perspective by this time of the year probably won’t draw that much attention.
