Flashback Product of the Week: 2006 Donruss/Playoff Hawaii Trade Conference Box
One of the coolest things about the Trade Conference are the promos, specifically the ones from Donruss/Playoff (Panini). Their black boxes are always packed with a ton of exclusive stuff. Some years there might be cards inside and other times you might find printing plates. They can be pretty expensive, but thats because the Trade Conference is the only place they could be picked-up. I opened a box from 2008 and pulled a bunch of one-of-one’s. Trust me, these are a very fun product to rip.

Congrats to Hawaii!!!

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) — Hawaii has won the Little League World Series, the fourth straight championship for the United States.
Tanner Tokunaga and Iolana Akau homered Sunday to lead the pint-sized players from Waipahu, Hawaii, in a 12-3 win over Matamoros, Mexico, for the title.
Hawaii also took advantage of several Mexico miscues, scoring runs off Mexico errors and a bases-loaded walk. Two other runs came in on passed balls.
Caleb Duhay struck out seven in five-plus innings for the win. Jesus Sauceda homered for Mexico, and Eduardo Rodriguez had a two-run single.
A team from Hawaii last won a Little League title in 2005.
