Press Pass Mailday!

This afternoon the UPS man dropped off another package from Press Pass.  This time they sent me a box of their new KISS 360 to review.  This product isn’t suppose to be released until 8-12-09 but it looks like this one snuck out of the factory a little early.  Press Pass had a lot of success with their KISS Ikons cards they released earlier this year.  I’ll be busting it this weekend, and there could possibly be another contest.  24 packs with 5 cards per pack.  Looks like a fun product.

Promo Set Mailday

Today was very interesting.  This morning I thought my wheelchair might be a Transformer because it was making all kinds of noises, but that wasn’t the case.  Apparently the technician who changed my tires yesturday cracked the rim causing the left tire to collapse.  When something like this happens its never a quick fix, so thats what I basically dealt with today but I was able to squeeze in a little swimming for a few hours.  Anyway, a few weeks ago I blogged about the Press Pass survey you could take and in return they would send you an exclusive promo set for free.  Today I received the 4-card set in the mail, and its really nice.  The set consists of Dale Earnhardt, Jr, KISS, Derrick Rose, and Matt Ryan.  Each card is printed on a plastic like material, probably acetate.  I was expecting 4 flimsy pieces of cardboard, but Press Pass really did a good job with this.  The only thing I don’t agree with is how they mailed them out.  They didn’t come shipped in a bubble-mailer.  Instead they were placed in a plain white envelope.  Maybe thats why the cards were made much more durable.  The survey is now closed and not allowing anyone else to take part.
