2013 Panini Momentum Football Box Break & Review

Design: 

2013 Momentum has been drastically improved over its 2012 predecessor.  This product is packed with thick white card stock.  The rookie and veteran autographed base cards came out really well.  These surprisingly don’t have white boxes around them either.  Most of the patch autographs look very nice too.  Panini did an excellent job in upgrading Momentum’s design for this year.

Price: 

Its expensive for what the average collector is going to pull.  Boxes are currently selling for $152.00.

“Hit” Quality: 

Momentum does have its share of “hits”.  The problem is that many of them will be high-numbered jerseys.  The same goes for the autographs.

Overall: 

Overall, I give 2013 Panini Momentum Football 3 fireballs out of 5 (1=poor & 5=perfect).  The design is way better than last year, but with a so-so rookie class, and a majority of the “hits” either being plain colored and/or high-numbered, the cost of a box will just eat you alive.  I say get rid of some of the regular jerseys to keep the cost down.  Momentum doesn’t need to have ten packs per box.
