Flashback Product of the Week: ’95 Phil Rizzuto’s National Pastime

Did Phil Rizzuto invent the “Chrome” card?  Technically no he didn’t.  That award goes to 1993 Topps Finest with their introduction of the refractor.  But two years before the first release of Bowman Chrome, collectors were introduced to Phil Rizzuto’s National Pastime.  These boxes were some of the first to use the word “Chromium”.  Each box contains 36 packs and collectors can look for Phil Rizzuto autographs.  It never really took off and you can find boxes for well under $20.00 today.
