More 2011 Press Pass Football Pictures

No college logos, but I do like the Trophy Club cards.  Press Pass is looking at releasing 2011 Football on 3/23/11.

Schlotzsky’s Mailday!

Photobucket

The other day I received a wooden bat holder in the mail from The Cooperstown Bat Company and at first I had no clue why it was sent to me.  Then it all started to come together.  About a week ago I was contacted by Matrixx Pictures, which is a marketing firm out in California, and they wanted to know if they could send me something.  Little did I know that was the first part.  Matrixx Pictures is doing a promotional campaign for Schlotzsky’s, which is a restaurant franchise.  Today in the mail I received another package containing three different colored baseball cards.  Once I take a photo of these cards and upload them next week to their website, if I am one of the first 1,000 people I could win a personalized mini-bat.  I thinks that cool!

When I started Sports Card Info, I never thought I would sponsored by Press Pass and have marketing companies like Matrixx Pictures want me to take part in a massive marketing campaign.  I love cards and blogging 🙂

By the way, you should check out the Schlotzsky’s Big League Club website.  They have a very addicting baseball game you can play for free.

ITG – 2008-2009 Between the Pipes New Images

Sports Card Info could potentially be in a relationship with In The Game Trading Cards.  Today they supplied me with some images that are not on the sell sheet of their new 2008-2009 Between the Pipes set.  These memorabilia cards look awesome, especially the goalie pad relics.

2008 Playoff Prime Cuts IV Pictures

Playoff Prime Cuts hasn’t been around for a few years, but it looks like Donruss/Playoff is making up for that lost time.  When I opened a box of this stuff three years ago, I pulled a Garrett Anderson Auto Jersey #’ed/16.  Looks like the newest version has some better stuff.

Revisiting 1997 Upper Deck Legends Football

North Las Vegas, NV (December 15, 2008) – When Upper Deck released its 1997 Legends Football set, it changed the industry forever. Collectors fell in love with the set for the simple, yet classic design, its incredible value, and the opportunity it presented to pull autograph cards from some of the greatest players in the game.

Something was missing in the set, however. Where were the current superstars? Players like John Elway, Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice, Troy Aikman and others were not included in the original set. Collectors will have their first opportunity to add those players to their 1997 Legends set when 2008 Ultimate Collection Football releases on February 11, 2009.

These new cards will have the same classic design as the ‘97 Legends set and all autographs will be hard-signed on the cards. These cards will also be numbered as part of the ‘97 set. Collectors can find one ‘97 Legends update autograph card per case on average.

“Collectors have been waiting for us to resurrect this set for some time,” said Brandon Miller, Upper Deck brand manager for football. “It was important enough to us that if we did it, we did it by providing collectors with the players who were not available on the initial checklist. Well, we’ve accomplished just that so football fans should be thrilled to add these cards to their set.
