More Little League pins this week!!!  As it turns out, I’ve got a bunch of Little League pins that really haven’t been shared online before.  These two pins were stadium giveaways from the Williamsport Crosscutters.  Both pins were given out to fans who attended Crosscutter home games this past year while the Little League World Series was taking place.  The pin on the right was given out on 8/21, and the one on the left 8/26.  For being giveaways, they’re quite thick and heavy.

These two pins represent the bronze statues that the Lycoming County Visitors Bureau have setup downtown Williamsport.  In all, there are ten statues.  A baseball diamond is painted all the way around the intersection, with home plate at the corner of Third and Market.  The four corners of the intersection are home to the statues.  They were first unveiled to the public during the 2014 Little League World Series.

Recently, the batter statue was vandalized.  Someone took the bat.  Luckily the whole thing is insured, and will be fixed.  Now it looks like the batter is swinging a lightsaber.
