2012-2013 Limited Basketball Box Break & Review

Design: Photobucket

Just like with past Limited releases, its a major foil fest.  At least the layout of the card’s design is slightly different when compared to past issues.  I really like the acetate die-cut on-card autographs.  They came out well.  Stickers on acetate never turn out good.

Panini introduced this jersey card that allows you to flip the jersey pieces around.  These do not need to exist.  I guess the designers got bored one day.

Price: Photobucket

Boxes are currently selling for $100.oo.

“Hit” Quality: Photobucket

Each box has (1) pack with (3) “hits” inside.

I pulled the following:

  • Evan Fournier Rookies Auto Redemption
  • Jimmer Fredette acetate die-cut Auto #’ed/299

  • Brandon Knight Lights Out Jersey #’ed/49

  • Al Horford #51
  • Steve Nash #140
  • Ramon Sessions #58
  • Michael Beasley #145

Overall: Photobucket

Overall, I give 2012-2013 Limited 2.5 basketballs out of 5 (1=poor & 5=perfect).  The on-card acetate autographs are the best part.  To me, everything else is pretty standard looking.
