2023 Topps Chrome Sapphire Edition Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi Box Break

Look what finally arrived!

This is the first box of Star Wars cards I’ve opened.

A majority of the Star Wars cards I had as a kid came packaged with the JusToys line of Bend-Ems figures.

2023 marks the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi. This is the third film in the original trilogy but really the sixth. I like to remember it as the one where we finally get to see Darth Vader’s face.

Topps made the decision to have the sapphire color penetrate the photographs this year. 2022’s Star Wars Sapphire just had the sapphire color around the border. Some people like this while others seem opposed to it. I think the sapphire should have been limited to the border.

New for this year is the chance at pulling an autograph. The odds of finding one is 1:8,028 packs.
